President's Letter, December 2025
"It does not suffice for me to love God if my neighbor does not love him.” -St. Vincent de Paul
We are a local association of the Ladies of Charity of the United States of America (LCUSA) and a lay organization within the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh. Our federation of Catholic women continues, expands, and improves charitable & spiritual works. Collectively we choose to serve rather than be served in humility, simplicity, and charity.

"Insensibility prevents us from being touched at the sight of the corporal and spiritual wretchedness of our neighbor; it leaves us without charity, without zeal, unmoved at the offenses committed against God." - St. Vincent de Paul

My Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ and our patrons, Saints Vincent de Paul, Louise de Marillac, and Elizabeth Ann Seton, as I am writing this the weather is perfect tonight – FINALLY! It feels especially enjoyable after enduring this last stretch of hot, humid days. This prompted me to think about ‘endurance’. I remember learning to P-U-S-H (pray until something happens). I came upon ChristiansTT website and found the following.

My Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ and our patrons, Saints Vincent de Paul, Louise de Marillac, and Elizabeth Ann Seton, I hope you are enjoying this summer season, despite the weather! I wanted to share something with you pertaining to this time of year we are in – something for you to reflect on in your leisure time (hopefully, you are getting some!) In my quest to that end, I came upon a past article on a Vincentian website I hope will speak to you in any season.
